The problem
Kutuma Financial Services, an authorised financial services provider in Johannesburg, needed a site that loads quickly on mobile networks, presents policy tiers clearly and carries the required regulatory disclosures, with less to maintain and secure than a plugin-based CMS.
Approach
A statically generated Next.js site with no server-side runtime to attack. Policy tiers, disclaimers and contact flows are structured content, so updates do not require touching layout code.
Key decisions
- Static generation means there is no database or admin login exposed to the internet.
- Regulatory wording is kept in one place so it stays consistent across pages.
- Mobile-first layout and light pages, since most visitors are on mobile data.
